Akshay Kumar expresses gratitude to Defence Minister Rajnath Singh after the special screening of Sky Force; says, “An absolute honour”

Actor Akshay Kumar is all set for the release of his upcoming film Sky Force with debutant Veer Pahariya. The team recently hosted a special film screening for Defence Minister Rajnath Singh in Delhi.

Rajnath Singh lauds Akshay Kumar’s Sky Force for remarkable work in showcasing the story of Indian Air Force

Sky Force revolves around the story of Squadron Leader Devayya and other members of the Indian Air Force who fought during the 1965 Indo-Pak war. After attending the special screening, Rajnath Singh took to X and shared some pictures of the special screening, lauding the actor and his team for their remarkable work. He wrote, “Joined CDS and three service chiefs at the special screening of ‘Sky Force’. The film narrates the story of the Indian Air Force’s bravery, courage and sacrifice during the 1965 War. I laud the makers of the film for their efforts.”

In response to his tweet, Akshay shared a heartwarming response, thanking the Defence Minister. He wrote, “Thank you, Sir. An absolute honour for me and the team of Skyforce that you, the CDS and the three service chiefs took out time to watch and bless our film. We’ve made it with a lot of gratitude and pride for the courage of our armed forces.”

Sky Force team had a special screening for NCC cadets in Delhi

Earlier, the Sky Force team had also hosted a special screening for NCC cadets in Delhi. The event was also attended by film producers Dinesh Vijan and Amar Kaushik. They gave a special shout-out to Lieutenant General Gurbirpal Singh and Disha Cell of the Indian Air Force.

Akshay Kumar shared a glimpse of the screening on Instagram and wrote, “A special screening of Sky Force that celebrated and honoured courage in every form, with our NCC Cadets! A big thank you to Lieutenant General Gurbirpal Singh and DISHA Cell of the Indian Air Force for such memorable moments.”
